Jeremy Lewis is a Detroit-based community and economic development consultant specializing in engagement strategy, strategic planning, and program design and management. With more than a decade of experience spanning for-profit, nonprofit, public, and community-based sectors, he helps organizations translate vision into actionable, community-informed outcomes.
A native Detroiter who returned to his hometown to invest professionally and personally, Jeremy brings a deep understanding of place, relationships, and systems change. His work is rooted in a human-centered, trust-based approach informed by the HOPE framework—advancing Human, Organizational, Physical, and Economic development.
Jeremy earned a Bachelor’s degree from Hampton University, holds a Master’s degree in Community Development from the University of Detroit Mercy, and is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School’s Executive Leadership program for nonprofit leaders. He partners with nonprofit organizations, anchor institutions, corporations, and government agencies to align stakeholders, strengthen programs, and drive sustainable, community-centered impact across Detroit and the region.
